Temporary Tax Exemption Available for Homeowners Affected by Winter Storm

Homeowners can receive a temporary exemption of a portion of their property taxes if at least 15% of their property was damaged by the winter storm. The temporary tax exemption application deadline is May 28, 2021.   Complete the online application form or contact the Harris County Appraisal District at  713-957-7800 or email help@hcad.org.
